During the day of September 29, Russian troops carried out more than 10 attacks with heavy artillery and drones on the Nikopol district, resulting in the death of a woman and the injury of a man.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
"Nikopolshchyna experienced more than ten attacks during the day. The enemy shelled populated areas with heavy artillery and used kamikaze drones. In Nikopol, during the evening shelling, the Russians killed an 80-year-old woman, and a man was hospitalized," the post reads.
According to Lysak, the territory is still being surveyed.
"Among the damaged at the moment is a multi-story building. A tractor and a car in the Marhanets community were also damaged," said the head of the administration.
Significant destruction as a result of the shelling was also reported in the Pokrovsk community.
"There, Russian artillery shells damaged 3 homesteads of local residents and an equal number of outbuildings. A garage, a car, a moped, fences, and power lines were also affected. It was also noisy in the Myrova community," noted Lysak.
