The north of the Donetsk region has been left without water supply for an indefinite period

Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka, and neighboring settlements, where about 260,000 people live in total, will face water supply issues due to the heavy shelling from Russia.

This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

According to him, on September 28, Russian forces caused significant damage to two facilities of "Water of Donbas." "Considering the considerable extent of the damage, there is no technical possibility to restore the operation of the equipment," stated the head of the Regional Military Administration.

As Filashkin noted, the Regional Military Administration, together with local authorities, is working on creating alternative water supply sources. At present, temporary supplies of technical water are being provided from the summer water intake of KP "Water of Donbas."
