In the vicinity of Donetsk, as a result of a missile strike, more than 20 Russian military personnel were killed, among them six officers from North Korea who had come for an exchange of experience.

This was reported by sources from the Kyiv Post.

In the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk, during a missile attack on Thursday, October 3, more than 20 Russian servicemen were killed, including six North Korean officers who had arrived to exchange experience with the Russians, according to Kyiv Post’s intelligence sources.

It is known that three more North Korean military personnel were injured.

Russian social media channels report that before the strike, the Russians were demonstrating to North Korean representatives the training of personnel for assault actions and defense.

Last week, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) reported on the arrival of a limited contingent of DPRK military personnel, including engineering troops, to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which indicates active cooperation between Russia and the DPRK, including training and education of the North Korean military in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

According to sources, there were 20 tanks with fuel and lubricants placed there.

Moreover, as reported by the Center for National Resistance last month, Russia intends to bring North Koreans to the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to involve them in construction works. Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin, after a meeting with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un, convinced his counterpart from Pyongyang to open their “diplomatic missions in Donetsk and Luhansk.”

The main purpose of these so-called diplomatic establishments is not to improve economic ties or develop tourism, as these sectors practically do not exist in North Korea, but to ensure the supply of labor to the temporarily occupied territories and involve North Koreans in construction work in these regions.
