The Kherson Regional Military Administration today urged residents of the region to evacuate due to intensified shelling and attempts by Russian sabotage groups to land. However, as reported by Kherson residents, the authorities are only providing transportation to Odesa without offering further assistance.
Kseniya Keleberda, whose relatives remain in Kherson, said that after contacting the Regional Military Administration helplines, she was only offered a bus to Odesa.
"They take you to Odesa and let you go without providing accommodation or financial support. No shelters, no temporary hotels. They simply say, «live as you wish». If you start asking uncomfortable questions, they give a «secret number» of volunteers who might help with housing. That’s the kind of evacuation it is," Keleberda writes on social media.
Amid the growing threat and lack of systemic support, many residents remain in a difficult situation, deprived of the necessary assistance for relocation and settlement.
