Zelenskyy plans to visit Sweden to sign security agreements

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the Swedish capital Stockholm on Friday, May 31.

The Ukrainian president wrote about this on Telegram.

According to him, in Stockholm he will take part in the third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit.

“Our key priorities: air defense for Ukraine - to provide more systems, joint defense production - and providing our soldiers with weapons, as well as our global work to force Russia to peace,” Zelenskyy said.

He is also scheduled to meet with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, and Icelandic Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson.

“We will communicate both within the summit and in bilateral formats,” Zelenskyy added.

He also announced the signing of three security agreements that "will lock in projected defence and other multi-faceted support over the long term."

Zelenskyy will also meet with King Charles XVI of Sweden and representatives of defense companies.
