Members of the Regulations Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine disrupted the quorum during the vote to exclude MP Maryana Bezuhla from the Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence.

This was reported by MP from the European Solidarity parliamentary faction Iryna Friz on Facebook .

“The regulatory committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, during the consideration of the draft Resolution of the Committee on National Security and Intelligence on the removal of Maryana Bezuhla from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Committee, disrupted the quorum,” she informed.

According to her, the consideration of the issue was disrupted by MPs from the Servant of the People faction Lyudmyla Marchenko, Artem Kultenko, Oksana Hrynchuk, Andriy Kostiichuk, and MP from the Platform for Life and Peace party Mykhailo Papiyev.

“Consequently, Bezuhla will continue her destructive activities, as a member of the National Security and Intelligence Committee, as a person included in the “Peacemaker” database, as a person who will actually lead to blocking the work of the committee behind closed doors, because representatives of the security and defence sector refuse to work in the closed mode secrets in her presence,” Friz emphasized.
