AFU in the Pokrovsk direction destroyed 460 invaders over the past day, - General Staff

During Saturday, the Russian occupiers carried out two missile strikes, 63 airstrikes, and dropped 86 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine.

Furthermore, the enemy used more than 650 kamikaze drones for attacks, and conducted nearly 3,400 shellings on the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and populated areas.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully attempted to assault the AFU positions near Vovchansk. At the same time, the occupiers’ army aviation struck Kozacha Lopan with unguided air rockets.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions near Synykivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka, Kotliarivka, Stelmakhivka, and Lozova. The AFU stopped 5 enemy attacks. Another 2 battles are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian occupiers attacked the Defence Forces’ positions 23 times near Druzeljubivka, Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Nevske, Makiivka, Bilohorivka, and Novosadove. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one assault by the occupational forces towards Vyiemka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked AFU positions near Kalynivka, Mayske, Andriivka, and Bila Hora. The Defense Forces stopped 7 enemy attacks; another 2 clashes are ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, there were 11 battles. The occupiers, supported by aviation, stormed AFU units’ positions near Toretsk, Shcherbinivka, and Nelipivka. Seven enemy attacks were repelled; another 4 are not completed.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked 25 times in the areas of Novotoretske, Selidove, Novohryhorivka, Krasnyi Yar, Vozdvyzhenka, Mykhailivka, and Marinivka. The AFU repelled 24 assaults. Near Selydove, a battle is still ongoing.

"Today, in this direction, according to preliminary data, 460 occupiers were destroyed, 188 of which are irrecoverable. Additionally, two combat armored vehicles and 11 cars were destroyed. One tank, one BMP, seven artillery systems, and nine cars were damaged," reported the General Staff.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy made 20 attempts to break through the AFU defense near Zhelane II, Tsukuryne, Heorhiyivka, Kostyantynivka, Yekaterinivka, and Horyanyk. Thirty battles have already been completed; another 7 are ongoing.

The General Staff informed that in this direction, according to preliminary data, the enemy’s losses were 100 people killed and wounded.

"Also, four combat armored vehicles were destroyed," the military briefing stated.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked AFU units 5 times near Vuhledar, Yekaterinivka, and Vodyane. One assault by the occupiers is still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy assaulted the Defence Forces’ positions 4 times near Robotyne, Novoandriivka, and Novodanilivka. One clash is still ongoing.

The General Staff added that in the other directions — there are no significant changes.

The military command also confirmed that the operation in the Kursk region is ongoing. Russian aviation continues to strike their own villages and towns with guided aerial bombs.
