US to allocate $800 million to Ukraine

First Vice Prime Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko announced the allocation of a financial aid package from the United States for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy sector worth 800 million dollars.

The head of the department wrote about this on the social network X (Twitter).

"We are grateful for the support in creating passive protection systems, as well as the $800 million funding package for the energy sector. During this visit, we provided a list of critical equipment needed for immediate repair, created by the Cabinet of Ministers," Svyrydenko noted.

As noted, in the States, Svyrydenko met with US Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk, and the main topic of their conversation was the resumption of energy.
