Situation at the front: General Staff tells what is happening at "zero"

Russian occupation forces continue active attacks in all directions of the front. In total, 105 direct combat clashes have already occurred since the beginning of the day.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Monday, 2 September. Russian artillery and mortar shelling hit the areas of Slavgorod, Oleksandrivka, Bachivska, Sopych, Sydorivka and Tymofiivka. The enemy also carried out air strikes with Ukrainian-made drones on Hlukhiv, Bilopillia and Zarutske.

In the Kharkiv sector, four combat engagements took place, including two near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, 13 battles are taking place with offensive actions near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Stelmakhivka and Berestove.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked the areas of Hrekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Makiivka and Nevske nine times, four of which have been repelled and five are ongoing.

In the Siverskyi sector, Ukrainian defence forces stopped four Russian offensives near Verkhnekamyanske and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three engagements took place near Kalynivka and Klishchiyivka, of which one attack is ongoing, but the situation is under control.

The Toretsk sector saw attacks near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Nelipivka and Romanivka, where four battles were completed and six were ongoing. In addition, Russian aviation struck near Druzhba and dropped tanks near Dachne.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy launched 29 attacks in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, Hrodivka and Mykhailivka. Ukrainian defence forces repelled 18 attacks, and 11 battles are currently underway.

In the Kurakhove sector, there were 16 attacks near Ukrayinske, Heorhiivka and Kostyantynivka, fourteen of which were repelled and two are still ongoing.

In the Vremivsk sector, Russian troops stormed positions near Vodiane, Vuhledar and Prechystivka 15 times. Seven battles were completed, eight are ongoing, and attacks by UAVs on Kostiantynivka and Novodarivka were recorded.

No active offensives were recorded in the Orikhivsk sector, but the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Novoandriivka and Mala Tokmachka.

In other areas, the operational situation remains unchanged.
