General Staff reported a closed meeting with Syrskyi’s participation

At the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, emphasized the need to increase the level of combat coherence of the formed military units. The topic of increasing the effectiveness of individual and collective training of personnel to perform combat missions was discussed.

During the event, the main focus was on:

• changes in the operational environment;
• staffing military units with trained and motivated military personnel;
• comprehensive training of new brigades and restoration of existing ones;
• continuous provision of combat units with standard types of weapons and military equipment and ammunition;
• prompt introduction of combat experience into the troop training system;
• identifying the main ways to solve a number of problematic issues.
