Ukrainian Armed Forces have stopped the advance of the Russian Federation towards Pokrovsk, - Syrskyi

According to him, the Pokrovsk direction became the epicenter of military actions in the east of Ukraine. However, Syrskyi noted that Ukrainian troops managed to stop Russia’s advance.

"Over the past six days, the enemy has not been able to advance a single meter in the Pokrovsk direction. In other words, our strategy is working," he noted.

He stressed that Ukraine had managed to deprive the Russians of the opportunity to maneuver and overthrow their reinforcements in other directions.

"This weakening is certainly felt in other regions. We notice that the number of artillery shellings, as well as the intensity of the offensive, has decreased," he added.
