Air defence is operating in the Kyiv region, – KCMA

On the morning of September 6, Russian drones were detected in the Kyiv region, and the air defence system is operating, regional authorities reported.

This was reported by KRMA in Telegram , Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.

"UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defence forces are actively working on targets."

The authorities are calling on citizens to remain in shelters, as well as to maintain information silence and not to record or post on the Internet the actions of the air defence systems.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of a Russian UAV towards Bila Tserkva from the northeast. There is also a threat of attack drones for Chernihiv region.

As of 7:30 a.m., the Armed Forces reported a missile threat for the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.
