Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Mykola Melnyk confirms the loss of Krasnohorivka and Nevelske in Donetsk region.

He also reports that in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have actually begun to defend themselves, holding back attacks by the Russians. In his opinion, the Russian army in the Kursk region is currently "actively preparing" for a counteroffensive.
