4 million Ukrainians lost their homes due to the war, - mass media

Every day, Russian terrorists bombard peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages with rockets and drones, destroying Ukrainians’ homes. According to recent data, around four million Ukrainian citizens have completely or partially lost their homes due to Russian aggression.

Such a sad statistic was presented by the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on protecting the rights of internally displaced persons.

StratCom of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Friday, September 13.

This horrifying number includes Ukrainians whose homes were seized as well as those whose homes were destroyed by Russian terrorist bombings.

Four million Ukrainians left in the open due to Russian aggression — this is more than, for example, the population of Croatia.

According to the Kyiv School of Economics Institute, as of January 2024, Russian forces had damaged or completely destroyed more than 250,000 residential buildings across Ukraine.

And each destroyed home is not just a loss of property, it is a tragedy for the families left without a roof over their heads, without a sense of security and stability.
