Night attack of the occupants: air defence forces shoot down 10 enemy drones and an X-59 missile

Russia launched another missile and drone attack on Ukraine on the night of September 15. Seventeen enemy aerial assault assets were registered in the airspace of our country.

Air Defence Forces shot down 10 "Shaheds" and one missile. The results of the night air battle were reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Armed Forces, at night Russia launched 17 missiles of various types and kamikaze drones at Ukraine.

"The occupiers hit the Odesa region with two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea and one guided X-59 aviation missile from the airspace of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya region, as well as 14 Shahed-type strike UAVs," the statement said.

Russians launched the "Shaheds" from the area of Russian Kursk and from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The enemy aerial assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups, and EW units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

"As a result of the air battle, one guided X-59 aviation missile and 10 strike UAVs were shot down," the Air Forces noted.

Air defence worked in Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Poltava, and Mykolaiv regions last night.
