Strike on a house in Kharkiv: the number of injured increased to 40

As a result of an airstrike on a residential building in Kharkiv today, September 15, more than 40 people have been reported injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.

The mayor explained that this time the strike hit the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv. The greatest damage, including structural damage, was suffered by two entrances of the building on which the Russians dropped a CAB.

“The fire engulfed four upper floors. Additionally, at least 12 neighboring buildings were damaged. Our specialists have already begun covering the windows in some of them. At the same time, we are inspecting the structures and conducting door-to-door surveys,” said the mayor.

He also noted that as of 18:30, more than 40 people were known to have been injured as a result of Russian aggression.

“According to updated data, 41 people are injured. Among them are four children, the youngest being one year old,” he explained.

Later, Syniehubov reported that employees of the State Emergency Service rescued a man with a dog from the 12th floor.

“People are still trapped under the rubble, and three apartments are completely destroyed,” added the regional head.
