The situation on the front: The Russian Federation has become more active in the Kurakhove direction, attacking with the support of aviation

Since the beginning of the day, the number of combat encounters has increased to 88. The enemy is actively operating in the Kurakhiv direction, where they conducted a quarter of all attacks.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the Russians continue to use aviation and artillery in the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions. In particular, the territories of the settlements of Karpovychi, Progres, Uhroidy, Stepok, Vysoke, Buchky, and Semenivka came under artillery fire. Enemy aviation struck with guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Malushyno, Ovoidy, Rechky, Katerynivka, Bondarevshchyna, Pysarivka, and Hlukhiv, using a total of 14 guided bombs at the moment.

The enemy launched four missile strikes on the city of Sumy. In addition, today, they have already dropped 17 guided bombs on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

Situation on the fronts

Six times the enemy attacked our positions in the Kupyansk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Novosynove, and in the direction of Lozova. One combat encounter in the area of Kruhliakivka is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, enemy attacks continue in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Druzhkivka, Makiivka, and Torske. Since the beginning of the day, there have already been eight combat encounters in this direction, two of which are still ongoing. The situation is under control.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked near Verkhnokamianske and Vyimka, twice attempting to break through our defense. Both attacks were repelled.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders conducted five assault actions near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Klishchiivka. One combat encounter is still ongoing in the area of the settlement Bila Hora.

Seven enemy attacks occurred in the Toretsk direction, with the enemy mainly attacking near the settlements of Toretsk and Nelipivka, and our defenders providing a worthy response. Five combat encounters have already ended. Additionally, the aggressor’s aviation struck with unguided aerial rockets and CABs on Shcherbinivka, Petrivka, and Druzhba.

Since the beginning of the day in the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers have already attempted 19 times to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Hrodovka, Novotroitske, Orlivka, Mykolaivka, and Ukrainsk, as well as attacked towards Zelenyi Hai. The defense forces, holding their ground, have already repelled 14 enemy attacks, with five battles still ongoing.

The highest number of combat encounters is now in the Kurakhove direction. With the support of aviation, the invaders attempted 22 times to advance near Tsukuryno, Zhelanne Pershe, Horniak, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka. Six combat encounters are still not over.

In the Vremivka direction, the invaders attacked six times in the direction of Vuhledar and Katerynivka, with three attacks still ongoing.

As a result of the airstrike with NARs, the settlement of Verbove in the Hulyaipole direction was affected.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, two enemy attacks were repelled. In other directions of the front, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
