Russian occupiers have started using new anti-personnel mines in the Kharkiv region. They resemble the PFM-1 "Pelyustok".

This was reported by the OTU "Kharkiv". According to available information, these are pressure-activated mines with a body printed on a 3D printer, inside which are a detonator and a plastic explosive charge.

"In terms of size and principle of operation, the new mines are similar to the internationally banned PFM-1 "Pelyustok" mines. Their compact size and unpredictable nature make them extremely dangerous," the military statement said.

It is noted that there is currently no confirmed data on the possibility of mass production of these mines in Russia. There is speculation that this may be the result of private initiative by individual manufacturers.

These mines, despite their relative simplicity of manufacture, pose a serious threat to the lives of our defenders.

"In light of the new threat, we call for increased caution in combat zones and on liberated territories," summarized OTU "Kharkiv".
