NABU has completed the investigation into corruption at the Volyn Customs

Two customs officers facilitated the illegal transportation of Apple computer equipment through the international checkpoint "Yahodyn" without proper payment of customs duties.

The imported products were particularly disguised as used agricultural machinery and mechanical equipment.

As a result, the state suffered losses amounting to more than 53 million UAH.

A total of eight episodes were documented where customs officers knowingly "ignored" the illegal movement of goods, forged documents, and entered false information into the automated customs clearance system "Inspector", unlawfully minimizing customs duties.
