The Defence Forces destroyed a Russian X-59 missile and 61 Shaheds

This was reported in Telegram by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

"On the night of September 20, Russian troops attacked the Donetsk region with three missiles of an unspecified type, the Dnipropetrovsk region with a guided aviation missile X-59 from the airspace of the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhya region, and also with 70 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (launch areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Yeysk)," the statement reads.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were engaged to repel the aerial attack.

As a result of the air battle, 61 strike UAVs and one X-59 missile were destroyed.

Due to the active counteractions of the Defence Forces, nine enemy drones were locally lost in several regions of Ukraine (no information about casualties or damage has been received).

Air defense operated in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions.
