In the National Guard stated that the occupiers failed to enter Selydove

The occupiers failed to enter the city of Selidovo in the Donetsk region, the fighting continues on the outskirts of the city.

This was reported by NGU officer Oleksandr Ryasnyi.

"The enemy is not penetrating the city, battles are ongoing at the outskirts. Although Russian war correspondents continue to claim that they are already in Selydove, this is not true. Selydove is completely under our control," the officer noted.

He also added that currently, the occupiers are trying to capture as many settlements as possible in the Pokrovsk direction before the onset of cold weather. According to the military, the occupiers use equipment, namely tanks, APCs, and IFVs, only if the infantry has managed to secure a foothold. Overall, he says, the enemy’s goal is to fortify and create logistics hubs and bridgeheads for future offensive operations.
