Zelensky held a Headquarters meeting: discussed missile production and energy protection with the help of Patriot

According to the president, issues of critical importance for Ukraine were discussed at the Staff meeting.

The first item discussed was the protection of the energy sector during the winter period. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko gave reports.

"The state of engineering protection of objects, the schedule for completing fortifications, and the deployment of electronic warfare and air defense systems, including the participation of Patriot systems, which we expect in the near future, were considered," Zelenskyy noted.

The next topic was the production of missiles, drones, and electronic warfare equipment in Ukraine. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Defence Minister Rustem Umyerov, and Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha reported on this.

"Decisions that will allow our industry to realize its potential to the maximum: long-term contracts from the state and the attraction of foreign funding," the president specified.

Another topic raised at the Staff meeting was the situation at the front. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi informed on all main directions. Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov and Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleh Ivashchenko also reported.
