Mobilization in Ukraine: 6500 volunteers join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine monthly

Monthly, about 6.5 thousand volunteers join the Ukrainian Defence Forces through recruitment centers. There are already 38 recruitment centers open in Ukraine.

This was reported by the representative of the Ministry of Defence on recruitment issues, Oleksiy Bezhevets, during the opening of another such center in Cherkasy on Friday, September 20, as noted on the  website of the department. According to him, more than 17 thousand Ukrainians have addressed recruitment centers and received professional consultations.

Bezhevets added that recruitment figures in the Defence Forces increase every month.

"On average, 6.5 thousand volunteers are recruited across the country every month. People are the foundation of the Defence Forces, and the Center provides an opportunity to join their ranks. Our recruiters are ready to provide consultations and help everyone find their place in the army," stated the Ministry of Defence representative.

The mayor of Cherkasy Anatoliy Bondarenko noted that the recruitment center of the Ukrainian army is open in the city to attract motivated and patriotically minded citizens to the Defence Forces.

He emphasized that summons will not be distributed in or around the Center – this is directly prohibited by regulatory documents. Citizens have access to more than 10 thousand vacancies, including cooks, repairmen, lawyers, UAV operators, medics, and other professions.

It is possible to be recruited into all Defence Forces, including the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and others.
