Zelenskyy told about the preparation of an important visit to the USA and Ukraine’s peace plan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that an active preparation is underway for a visit to the USA, where negotiations with the American leader Joe Biden and representatives of both parties in Congress are planned. He also hopes to meet with both candidates for the U.S. presidency.

During these negotiations, Ukraine will present a concrete plan to bring our victory closer. President Zelenskyy stated this in his traditional evening address to Ukrainians on Friday, September 20.

"Now we plan to present a very specific plan on how Ukraine can not only withstand this war, not only maintain the level of resistance that we currently have, but also strengthen itself – strengthen in a way that will genuinely bring a just peace and victory closer. Ukraine highly counts on this support," he emphasized.

"This is fair. Because when one nation wins the battle for its independence and adherence to international law, the whole world wins. This is exactly how it should be," the guarantor added.

He also noted that Ukrainians will always be grateful to America for supporting our independence, for all the help we’ve received to withstand this war.

Furthermore, the president spoke about the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters. He listened to the report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi on the front and our operation in the Kursk region. Our combat brigades are holding their positions as firmly as possible.

"There were intelligence reports. DIU – Budanov. Foreign Intelligence Service – Ivashchenko. We discussed the issues of drone production and the provision of drones to all elements of the Defence and Security Forces in great detail and even emotionally," Zelenskyy noted.

Additionally, the issues of missile production, electronic warfare systems, and corresponding cooperation with partners were discussed at the Headquarters. The head of state emphasized: the main thing is not only the presence of contracts and funding for them but also the speed of real production and delivery.
