The invitation of Ukraine to NATO is part of the victory plan, - Yermak
During a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations meeting in New York, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak emphasized that Ukraine’s invitation to NATO is an important element of the victory plan developed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This was reported by the Presidential Office of Ukraine.
"Ukraine’s invitation to NATO is part of the victory plan. I also urged our partners to ignore the threats of escalation from the Russian Federation."
According to him, Ukraine’s victory plan, which Zelenskyy is presenting in the United States of America, includes a clear outline of steps "that need to be taken to ensure a just and sustainable peace," and encompasses both military and diplomatic strategies.
Yermak also emphasized that despite a sixfold increase in weapons production, Ukraine still lacks the resources, technology, and time for complete autonomy in ensuring its defense.
The head of the Presidential Office urged allies to expedite the delivery of military aid, prioritizing air defense systems, drones, electronic warfare means, long-range systems, and artillery shells.
He also noted the need for increased investment in Ukrainian weapons production and granting permission for strikes on Russian territory, as well as the use of frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
