"As a result of the night attack by Russian drones in the Ivano-Frankivsk community, damage to the power grids was recorded," - said in a statement "Prykarpattiaoblenergo".

According to the energy company, due to this, the central part of Ivano-Frankivsk is currently without power, specifically the streets:

• Konovaltsia;
• Sechevykh Striltsiv;
• Stepana Bandery and some adjacent areas.

"Energy crews have already set off to repair the damage, but it will take time to restore power. Consumers should take this into account," added the energy company.

The blackout was caused by damage to a critical facility

Part of Ivano-Frankivsk was left without power due to damage to a critical infrastructure facility.

"The fire that broke out at the crash site has been extinguished. Fortunately, there are no casualties," - noted the head of the Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk.
