Russian SU-25 was likely shot down by Russian air defence

Russian «war correspondent» Rozhin reported the downing of a Ukrainian aircraft in the Donetsk region.

But the media have visual evidence that the aircraft, which crashed in the village of Kostyantynivka in the Kurakhove direction in the Donetsk region, belongs to the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The footage captures the moment a SAM missile hits the fighter jet, video from the crash site of the Su-25.

Update: It is unknown why the Russian aircraft flew over the frontline at all.

As a rule, Russian aircraft currently do not even come close to the frontline, launching missiles and GABs from a distance of tens of kilometers.

The plane crashed into a house. The fate of the pilot is unknown.
