Ukraine and Ireland today signed a bilateral agreement on security guarantees. In addition to non-lethal military support, Dublin will allocate 40 million euros in humanitarian aid to Kyiv this year.

This was reported by the Office of the President.

"Ireland will also provide mine clearance systems and explosive ordnance disposal equipment and will further participate in the mine clearance coalition. In addition, the country will explore other potential ways in which it can support the capabilities of the Contact Group on Defence within coalitions, such as the IT coalition," the statement reads.

Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ireland has already donated €380 million in aid.
