Situation on the front: The Armed Forces of Ukraine thwart the offensive plans of the occupiers

In Ukraine, in less than a day on September 14 (as of 16:00), there were 83 combat clashes with the occupying army of the Russian Federation. The hottest directions are Pokrovsk and Kurakhove.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported in a new report that "The Defence Forces continue to resolutely counter the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, focusing efforts on foiling the occupiers’ advancement plans." The information is updated as of 16:00 on Saturday (the 934th day of the full-scale invasion).

Russians continue to use aviation and artillery in the border areas of Sumy region. Artillery shelling took place in the areas of Nova Huta, Grabovske, Vovkivka, Sopych, Ulanove, Novodmitrivka and Bachivsk. Aviation shelling took place in the areas of Nova Huta, Obody, Iskryskivka, Pavlivka, Bilopillia and Kindrativka.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian Federation Armed Forces stormed our positions near Vovchansk three times.

The enemy attacked four times in the Kupyansk sector, in the direction of Lozova and Sinkivka. One attack was repelled, three firefights continued as of 16:00.

In the Lyman sector, attacks took place in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Zarichne, Serebryanka and Terny. A total of 11 combat engagements took place in this sector since the beginning of the day, five of which are still ongoing. The situation is under control.

The enemy continues to try to break through the Ukrainian defences in the Siverskyi sector, but is being firmly repulsed. Near Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka, the occupants twice tried to push our units (one engagement is still ongoing).

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders made one attack near Andriivka.

In the Toretsk sector, the number of Russian attacks increased to six. The enemy attacked near Toretsk with the support of aviation, where our defenders repelled two attacks, and four attacks were repelled in Druzhba and Nelipivka. Two more firefights continued. Konstantynivka, Kleban-Byk and Katerynivka were hit by anti-aircraft gunships, and Druzhba was hit by unguided aerial missiles.

Russians are actively attacking in the Pokrovsk sector. During the day, the aggressor carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Sukhoi Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zelenyi Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka and Marynivka. Defence forces held back the attack and repelled 23 enemy attacks, with six battles still ongoing.

In the Kurakhove direction, the invader attacked 27 times. He tried to advance near Selidove, Ukrainska, Krasnohorivka, Dolynivka, Zhelenyi Druhyi, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka and Katerynivka. Three firefights took place near Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, our Heroes repelled two attacks in the direction of Vodiane and Zolota Nyva. The enemy’s attempts to advance were unsuccessful.

The towns of Pyatikhatky and Lobkove in the Orikhivsk sector were attacked by unguided aerial missiles.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, two attacks by the invaders were unsuccessful.

"The Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is taking all necessary measures to contain the enemy’s offensive and stabilize the situation," assured the General Staff.
