Instead of TRCs, new structures are planned to be created in Ukraine, — Ministry of Defence

The Ministry of Defence is working on developing a variant of a complete reform of the territorial recruitment and social support centers. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Defence, Ivan Havrylyuk, during the government question hour.

He did not disclose the details of the plans but noted that the primary change should be in who the TRCs report to. According to him, the plan is to make the TRCs subordinate to the Ministry of Defence.

Currently, they are subordinate to the operational command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, in turn, are subordinate to the General Staff.

"At present, the Ministry of Defence is developing a variant of a complete reform of the TRCs. First and foremost, they should report to the Ministry of Defence, and completely new structures will be established to perform tasks related to the mobilization of conscripts," Havrylyuk explained.
