The National Bank fined Akhmetov’s insurance company

The National Bank of Ukraine on December 24 imposed a measure of impact in the form of a penalty (fine) on PJSC “UASK ASKA” (Zaporizhia). The decision was made based on the results of unscheduled inspection materials.

This became known from a message on LIGA.Business with reference to the NBU press service.

The fine is because the insurer submitted inaccurate reports to the NBU as of June 30, 2021.

The company must pay the fine within seven working days from the date of receipt of the corresponding NBU decision. The decision to apply the measure of impact comes into force on December 28.

The National Bank did not disclose the amount of the fine.

ASKA is the first private insurance company established in the independent Ukraine. It is a part of the portfolio of the international investment company SCM of Rinat Akhmetov.
