Ukrainian IT Army shut down the Moscow metro
The Ukrainian IT army launched an attack on a number of government and local portals inside the aggressor country of Russia. Among them, in particular, was the Troika fare system, which led to the cessation of the Moscow metro.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. “The cyber army attacked a number of government and local portals, among them the "Troika" fare payment system,” the message says.
The "Troika" system is one of the largest ticket payment systems in Russia and serves 38 regions.
As a result of the “glitch,” holders of transport cards in Moscow and Kazan were unable to pay for tickets, top up travel cards, and pay for parking.
The Ministry of Digital Development called on cyber activists to join the IT Army and destroy the economy of the aggressor country.
