The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to conduct an operation in the Kursk region.

This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, during a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

According to him, about a thousand square kilometers of Russian territory are currently under the control of Ukrainian forces.

“The group of troops is carrying out the assigned tasks, battles are taking place along virtually the entire front, the situation is under our control,” the commander-in-chief said.

In response to Syrskyi’s report, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked all soldiers and commanders.
