In Kyiv, the "Ukraine" hotel was sold for 2.5 billion hryvnias

The hotel "Ukraine", located in the very heart of the capital, was sold at the first online auction as part of the large-scale privatization. The lot fetched 2.51 billion UAH, which is 2.4 times higher than the starting price.

This is confirmed by data from Prozorro.Sale. "The State Property Fund of Ukraine held the first auction for large-scale privatization in the Prozorro.Sale system. The lot, for which participants fought in the electronic auction, was the hotel "Ukraine" in the center of Kyiv," noted in the Ministry of Economy.

The auction took place on September 18 and was held in three rounds with increasing prices. The starting price was 1.05 billion UAH (excluding VAT).

After closing the deal with the buyer, 2.51 billion UAH will be directed to the state budget of Ukraine. The buyer is also obliged to maintain the main type of business activity of the enterprise, pay off wage arrears and debts to the budget, as well as settle overdue creditor liabilities.

Three companies participated in the auction. The winner was LLC "Ola Fine", which, according to YouControl data, is engaged in real estate leasing. The bid from this company exceeded the prices of competitors - PJSC "Zhytomyr Furniture Factory" and LLC "Alarit-Prom" - by more than 1 billion UAH.

The company "Ola Fine" was founded in 2021. Its authorized capital is 768 thousand UAH. In 2023, the enterprise received a net profit of 334 thousand UAH.

The owner of the company is Maksym Krippa. "Ukraine" will not be the first hotel in his ownership. In particular, in 2020, the entrepreneur acquired the hotel "Dnipro", which is also located in the center of Kyiv.

"Ukraine" is a 4-star hotel with more than 60 years of history. The total area of the building is 22,481.5 sq.m.

This is a 14-story building with 363 rooms and 6 conference halls. The hotel also has its own parking, laundry, business center with office equipment, beauty salon, sauna, and massage room. "Ukraine" also has a restaurant for 250 people and 4 banquet halls with a total area of 451 sq.m.
