Ukrainian defenders repelled an attempt by Russian forces to break through in the direction of Kupyansk

This information was released by Telegram of the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.

"Indeed, today the Russian army attempted to break into Kupyansk. Several units of equipment and infantry made a breakthrough and were destroyed by our forces," Kovalenko reported.

According to him, such assaults are now a common occurrence for Russian military personnel. They aim to break through to residential areas or outskirts, deploy troops, and try to hold positions until reinforcements arrive.

"Today, our soldiers acted excellently," Kovalenko noted.
