During the full-scale war, 43,000 Ukrainian military personnel have died, - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that since February 24, 2022, 43,000 Ukrainian soldiers have died.

Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram.

"I said (in France – ed.) that we need a just and strong peace that the Russians won’t destroy in a few years, like they have done before...

Our people protect their home at the cost of their lives, and every life of our soldiers and civilians is valuable to us.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has lost 43,000 soldiers who died on the battlefield. 370,000 cases of providing assistance to the wounded, and this takes into account that in our army approximately 50 percent of the wounded return to duty, and all wounds are recorded, including minor and repeated ones.

One of the key differences between the Russian army and the Ukrainian Defence Forces – is the level of development of frontline medicine, which is significantly higher in our army. We in Ukraine are grateful to everyone who helps to develop medicine in our army and saves our wounded, providing rehabilitation."
