Italy has approved a new military support package for Ukraine

The Italian government has approved a new package of military aid for Ukraine. This is already the tenth package.

The list of items planned to be sent to Kyiv remains confidential, as in previous packages of military aid to Ukraine.

"Italy stands with Kyiv, fully supporting a just peace that excludes the capitulation of Ukraine," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tayani.

The official also noted that preparations are underway for the "second peace conference with the participation of Russia, as well as partners such as China, India, and Brazil." The minister recalled that during the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Group of Seven in Fiuggi in November, the "key role of supporting Ukraine’s energy security and its recovery" was reaffirmed.

Moreover, Tayani emphasized that this commitment "puts Italy at the forefront ahead of the conference on Ukraine’s recovery, which we are organizing in Rome in July."
