Fighters of the KORD special unit received a ground drone on four "legs"

The unit of the National Police of Ukraine "KORD" has received a state-of-the-art robotic complex "BAD-2 robotic". This is a ground drone on four "legs", whose main function is reconnaissance.

The complex is designed for reconnaissance in both open areas and various objects, reducing the risk for law enforcement officers during dangerous missions. This was reported on Tuesday, December 17, on the website of the National Police.

It is noted that the robotic dog "BAD-2 robotic" by the British company "Brit Alliance" was specially modified for the needs of "KORD" by the company’s specialists. It is operated by an operator.

The robotic complex was received by the fighters thanks to international assistance from the company "Criscon 24". Its representatives Peter Davis and Philip Hentz attended a meeting with Ukrainian policemen.

"The complex is equipped with a high-resolution camera and a thermal imager, and can also be remotely controlled from a distance of over 2 km from the operator. This ground reconnaissance drone, with its available equipment, can be used for exploring open areas, inspecting various rooms and objects, thereby reducing the risk to the life of the special unit during mission execution," stated the National Police message.

Such an "assistant" will help ensure the safety of personnel during various special operations.
