In the Donetsk region, 50 children remain in the forced evacuation zone

This was reported during an online briefing by the acting head of the children’s services of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Yuliya Ryzhakova.

“In four settlements that are currently subject to mandatory evacuation with a forced order, there remain 50 children, which is 37 families,” Ryzhakova noted.

She noted that the most children currently remain in the settlements of the Pokrovska TG.

“In the Lyman city territorial community, in the city of Lyman, there is still one child – that’s one family; in the city of Kostiantynivka, there are four children remaining - that’s three families, in the Pokrovsk city territorial community, a total of 45 children remain, that’s 33 families,” the RSA representative emphasized.

According to her, the evacuation of children with families, which began in the Donetsk region on April 7, 2023, continues, and in the last week, another 50 children, who are brought up in 41 families, were evacuated.

Ryzhakova specified that last week, the most children were evacuated from the Pokrovska city territorial community - 36. The evacuation continues.
